Note: numbers of countries and contributors have changed slightly, but the principles remain the same...
As for the COGENT Global Strategy, the making off of this manual was based on a special participative approach to involve stakeholders. When feasible, each section have been authored by 3 to 5 contributors coming from different organizations, different sectors of the value chain, different countries or even different continents. A first basic text was sometimes provided to contributors who strongly improved it. Many contributors wrote all the text by themselves. In any case, they always all endorsed the final version before publication. Thus, the manual gathers 53 contributors from 27 countries and territories, as follow:

The making process have generated 268 unique interactions between the 53 contributors (taking into account that the four editors are connected to all contributors).
Such unique interaction means than two authors have their name together on the
same publication, and that this is occurring 268 times in the manual. A complete list of references produced will be produced when the manual will be printed.
